Settings
General
This page holds suite-wide terminate timing, hostname minting, and resource alert mail. It is written for the owner setting policy that every package shares.

Purpose
Intro: General module settings: terminate policy, hostname generation, and client resource alert emails.

Terminate policy
| Field | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Terminate mode | Select | Immediate: stop the guest, delete it, release its IPs, and remove a private network if one exists. Grace: stop now, destroy after the grace period. Cron task Provision jobs performs the delayed destroy. |
| Grace period (days) | Number, minimum 0 | Days to wait in grace mode. Grace mode forces the value to at least 1. |
WHMCS Terminate uses this page. The package field Terminate action is stored and not read.
Hostname generation
Used when the package Hostname mode is Use service domain, or when generation is the fallback. Tokens: {$serviceId}, {$clientId}, {$orderId}, {$whmcsMainDomain}, {$rand}, {$nextIncrementalValue}.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hostname format | Template. Keep it DNS-safe. |
| Next incremental value | Counter for {$nextIncrementalValue}. Minimum 1. Increments after each generated name. |
| Random character set | Characters allowed inside {$rand}. |
| Random value length | How many random characters. Minimum 0. |
| Override WHMCS domain with generated hostname | On: the generated name replaces a domain already stored on the service. Off: an existing domain is kept. |
Resource alert thresholds

Nested under Enable resource alert emails. Cron task Schedules & alerts runs the check. When the switch is off, the runner sends nothing.
| Field | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Enable resource alert emails | Off | Master switch. |
| CPU threshold (%) | 90 | Mail when CPU percent is at or above this. |
| RAM threshold (%) | 90 | Same for memory. |
| Disk threshold (%) | 90 | Same for disk. |
| Network threshold (Mbps delta per cron run) | 100 | Mail when the Mbps change since the last run exceeds this. |
| Alert cooldown (minutes) | 60 | Suppresses a repeat for the same guest. |
Mail uses the WHMCS email template SrvProxmox Resource Alert.
Example
Refunds need a day to review: Terminate mode = grace, Grace period (days) = 1, Save. A terminate then stops the guest immediately and Task History keeps a destroy job until the next provision-cron pass after that day.
