Info and license

This page covers the license gate on Info. It is written for the administrator who activates Proxmox Suite and must unlock the rest of the admin menu.

Menu: Addons → Proxmox Suite → Overview → Info

Info is the landing page. There is no sidebar on this family when it is the only in-menu item. No screenshot is shipped for this screen.

Purpose

Info shows product identity and stores the license key. While the license gate refuses access, every other admin page redirects here. The top tab label in that state is Info.

When the build is past the support window, or the license is inactive and verify returned a message, the page shows Support Renewal Required or License Required, with Support through and Last supported build. Renew in Client Area opens the license client area. Contact Support opens ServLayer tickets when a support URL is configured.

License Key

Save behavior. Empty key: License key is required. The key must start with PS- or the legacy prefix SRV-PXV-, followed by 8–22 letters or digits. Any other shape: License key must start with PS-. A changed key clears the previous local verify cache. Success flash: License key saved.

After a key is stored, the page also shows License Status, Support & Updates (Active or Inactive), Support Until, and Licensed Domain.

Note

Encoded builds also need the file srvprox.lic in both modules/addons/SrvProxmoxSuite/ and modules/servers/SrvProxmoxSuite/. The key on this page does not replace that file.

Example

  1. Open Info.
  2. Paste a key shaped PS- plus the key body.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. When verify allows access, open Nodes → Clusters List.
